Did you know that you can use Google Maps to search for local real estate in your area? To start, first head over to “maps.google.com” and then click on “Show Search Options” next to the “Search Maps” button.
Then simply enter the zip code or town you want to search and Google will overlay all available sales onto the map. Clicking on a red button will bring up additional information on the property. It’s a great way to pinpoint your home search to a specific neighborhood. Note that Greenwich, Darien, and New Canaan MLS’s often don’t make all of their listings available to these services.
